Obese Man Airlifted From Sadiqabad For Treatment On Army Chief’s Directives: Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor Condemns Bilal Khan’s Murder
A Sadiqabad-based taxi driver, weighing 330kg, was airlifted on a Pakistan Army helicopter to Lahore for treatment on Tuesday evening on special directives from Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Noorul Hassan, 55, — a resident of Mohallah Islampura — had appealed on social media to Gen Bajwa to take notice of his predicament and assist him in seeking treatment.

Rescue 1122 personnel broke the main door and wall of Hassan's house to bring him out, after which they shifted Hassan onto a mini truck and transported him to a football ground in Sadiqabad where a helipad was fashioned for the air ambulance's landing.

He added that the special helicopter ambulance from Rawalpindi had to arrive in the morning but due to bad weather, landed in Multan first and later arrived in Sadiqabad in the evening.

Dr Maazul Hassan, a top laparoscopic surgeon in Lahore, will treat Noorul Hasan.

On the other hand, ISPR DG Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has condemned the brutal killing of social media activist Mohammad Bilal Khan who was stabbed to death, in Islamabad Sunday.

The military spokesperson, from his personal twitter account, also slammed 'ill intended propaganda to implicate state agencies by few individuals and certain segment of western media' into the murder.

He tweeted a response on the slain blogger's October 2018 tweet which mentioned screenshots of Bilal Khan's communication with him and an article.
