Until Pakistani televangelist, Amir Liaquat Hussain uncovered the 'reality' behind it.
During a Ramazan transmission on Pakistan Television (PTV), Liaquat claimed that the Bermuda Triangle, or the devil's triangle, is actually Dajjal's (Anti-Christ) right eye.
Liaquat, however, isn't the only one who believes (or perhaps spreads such misinformation to get ratings) in such stories. Several people believe that the Bermuda Triangle and the surrounding areas are either haunted or occupied by aliens.
Others believe that there is a fourth dimension in the region and therefore, anyone who enters into it gets sucked in.
But Australian scientist Karl Kruszelnicki has insisted the reason why so many ships and planes vanish without a trace in the area between Bermuda, Florida, Puerto Rico is nothing to do with aliens or fire-crystals from the lost city of Atlantis.
He said that the 'supernatural' reason why so many ships and planes disappeared in the region was plain human error and nothing else. Also, some of the planes and ships might have entered into the Atlantic Ocean in the first place.
“It is close to the Equator, near a wealthy part of the world – America - therefore you have a lot of traffic,” he said.
So, said Kruszelnicki, when you then compare the number of disappearances to Anaya large number of ships and planes passing through the Bermuda Triangle, you find there is nothing out of the ordinary about the area at all.
