Opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)’s first rally against the PTI government is currently take place in Gujranwala.
Addressing the rally, PML-N leader Khwaja Asif said that the PM won't resign because he has no 'shame'. "We will go to Islamabad and overthrow his government," he said.
The PML-N leaders also chanted slogans against increasing prices of essential commodities. “Muk gaya tera show Niazi, go Niazi, go Niazi" and "Aata cheeni chor Niazi, go Niazi, go Niazi".(You have been defeated Niazi, go Niazi, go Niazi. You have robbed us of wheat and sugar Niazi, go Niazi, go Niazi.)
PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that a selected PM is not the (real) premier. Referring to Imran Khan as “rejected PM”, he said that Khan will have to resign as PM.
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz came up on the stage and waved at the supporters gathered at the rally. She also welcomed PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on the stage at the jalsa.
