Express Tribune reported that Justice Isa submitted rejoinder to the apex court which is hearing a presidential reference against him. In his response, he stated that Abdul Waheed Dogar, on whose complaint the reference was filed in the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) against him, did not produce any admissible evidence about the three offshore properties owned by his wife.
Further, Justice Isa said that the Assets Recovery Unit (ARU) was not prepared either and that the "so-called documentary evidence was not attached to the complaint in the reference nor was filed any time thereafter".
The rejoinder further said that even after 14 months, the federal government is yet to provide particulars of the alleged searchers who are said to have been carried out through the 192.com and the HM land registry search engines.
