Indian digital media news outlet Pinkvilla reported that the actor’s staffers were shifted to Mumbai’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) coronavirus facility after contracting coronavirus. It resported that Rekha's ‘outrageous’ behaviour with the authorities has been slammed by various people.
According to reports, her manager Farhana contacted the BMC staff when she reached the Bollywood star’s bungalow. The actor then gave Farhana’s number to BMC to call her before carrying out official procedures.
Later on, when Farhana was called, she reportedly said that Rekha is doing fine and is not willing to get tested for Covid-19 because she had not come in anyone’s contact.
The Indian media reports further claimed that BMC had sent a sanitisation team to Rekha's residence but they were not let inside. Moreover, they were not allowed to sanitise the bungalow either.
