TLP Riots: ‘Special Cell’ Established To Identify Individuals Who Incited Violence Through Videos On Social Media

Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that a special cell with NADRA, Safe City Lahore and other agencies has been established to help identify the individuals who incited violence against the police through videos posted on social media.

In a tweet, the federal minister said that several people have already been identified through the hateful videos they uploaded on social media.
Action against such individuals would be taken under the anti terrorism act (ATA).
Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLP)’s violent protests claimed three lives including those of two cops and wounded more than 300 policemen.
