75 families of daily wage workers were rendered homeless in Islamabad, Sector G today, while their makeshift huts were bulldozed by the capital city's administration during the nationwide lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis. A video doing the rounds on social media showed how the government has left people homeless during a pandemic. Many social media users were outraged at the action and called on the government to show empathy.
