PM Imran Khan has admitted his government's negligence is responsible for the sugar and wheat crisis. He assured the country that an investigation was underway to find those responsible.
Speaking at a ceremony in the context of the government's launch of the Insaf Card in Punjab, the PM stated: “I promise you: whoever is involved in the crisis, we will not spare that person.”
The PM went on to note that his government was also investigating as to who had been making money through “artificial inflation”. He promised to implement a system which could identify supply problems for essential goods in the future.
