The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced that the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020's matches would be cut short and the final match of the tournament would be held on March 18 instead of March 23.

Semi-finals will be held instead of the playoff match, which will be held in Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on March 17. One semi-final match will be held at 2 PM and the second one at 7 PM. The final match of the tournament will also be held at the Gaddafi Stadium at 7 PM on March 18.

However, the playoff matches planned for today, tomorrow and March 15 will be held as per the schedule. According to the press release, the officials are yet to decide whether spectators would be allowed in the stadium during the remaining matches. The decision in this regard will be made after consultations with the provincial government.

Moreover, all players participating in the tournament have been asked to quit the league if they want to, amid the coronavirus fears.
