The prime minister expressed these views while speaking on the subject of unification of education and its relation with different cultures in Pakistan. He said, “we will introduce a ‘core syllabus’ in the next year, and every school in Pakistan will have to teach that syllabus to their students. This step will make us ‘one nation’ and will stop different cultures, that have been developing in the country since long.”
PM Imran also performed the ground-breaking of Rs 100 billion housing projects for construction of 20,000 housing units for low-income groups and salaried people in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Quetta.
While speaking on the projects, the prime minister said the government has undertaken huge efforts for the start of constructing five million houses in the country as the initiative often drew criticism from the political opponents. “But now after the breakthrough and path-finding, the journey has started towards realization of the initiative,” he added.
