PTI Minister Blames Palestinians For Failing To 'Defend Themselves'

Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas is being criticised on Twitter for what has been termed an 'insensitive' and 'embarrassing' statement about the Palestine issue. The minister lashed out at Palestinians, saying that they have been using stones 'for decades', adding that Israel has been armed to the teeth.

"Where does all the Palestine support money go? Why can’t they buy a single gun to defend themselves," he wrote on Twitter.

The minister's tweet led to an uproar with Twitterati asking him to educate himself on the issue instead of blaming the victim.
