As per reports, some Turkish hackers executed the hack. As an apparent cybercrime, the hackers uploaded a picture of Prime Minister Imran Khan as the superstar's profile picture. What came as a surprise(?) though was minister for climate change Zartaj Gul Wazir falling for the cyber attack and appreciating Bachan's gesture.

Minister Gul tweeted,
"This is such a great gesture from a legend of India".
Pakistani Twitter, on the other hand, took the hack on a lighter note and responded with memes and jokes.

In tweets made from the alleged account, love was expressed for Pakistan. In another tweet, some Turkish cyber army accepted responsibility for the attack and condemned Iceland's attitude towards Turkish footballers.
"This is an important call to the whole world! We do condemn the irrespective behavior of Iceland towards Turkish footballers. We speak softly but carry a big stick and inform you about the Cyber Attack here. As Ayyidiz Tim Turkish Cyber Army."
It is important to note that the Bollywood superstar has an immense following of over 37 million. The followers hail from all across the world which made Bachan's account a primary target for the hackers.
Tweets from the hackers involved praise for Pakistan and protest with the Indian government for the persecution of Muslims.
This is not the first time Indian Cyberspace has been breached. Bollywood actors, Government of India and even BJP's official account was hacked previously. What's more threatening is the content of the tweets. Are religious atrocities in India widespread enough to provoke Turkish hackers? The same hackers who previously hacked Shahid Kapoor's account protesting for the negative portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in the movie "Padmaavat".
