The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced that the party will organize 60 rallies across the country from January 15 to February 8.
While speaking at a program on Naya Daur TV, senior analyst Muzamal Suharwardy said that the nation will see the PML-N in action from January 15 as the party is all set to commence its election campaign.
The analyst criticized the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), saying that the party has a legacy of issuing tickets to feudal lords in Sindh.
While responding to a question, Suharwardy questioned the role of the judiciary in allowing those involved in the May 9 riots to contest elections, adding that it is not appropriate that absconders are being allowed to contest polls.
While referring to the Pakistan Threek-e-Insaf (PTI), the analyst said that a political party attacked the military installations on May 9, 2023, adding that only an enemy of Pakistan can attack the GHQ and ISI office.
“If a bank defaulter cannot contest polls, then how can a person who attacked state institutions be allowed to contest elections?" he questioned.
To another question, Suharwardy said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has started criticizing PTI founder Imran Khan, which indicates that the PPP’s policy has changed.
