Twitter user Jenny Carr shared an image of her 10-year-old son saying that she was heartbroken to hear her child say he ‘hated’ his life. She had also tagged Wasim Akram among other cricketers asking them for some ‘inspiration’ for her son Oliver, who suffers from Type 1 Diabetes.

Akram, who himself was diagnosed with Diabetes at age 30, was quick to react and his response just won him thousands of more hearts.
“He doesn’t hate his life Jenny. He hates that he has to battle such a big challenge at such a young age. It’s a hard time for you both and its very important that you all stay strong. Your Strength will be his superpower. Tell him every hero has a weakness, don’t let diabetes be his,” Akram said in his tweet.

The first one to react to Wasim’s tweet was none other than his better half, Shaniera Akram

And the second one? It was the Oliver’s mother who says Wasim’s words have put a smile on her son’s face. Awwww!
