LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) official Twitter account on Monday reported a fake account named Maryam Nawaz Fans. The account with over 14,000 followers has been running since November 2017 and tweets in the favour of PML-N. Some of the tweets are against the policy and political structure of PML-N.

On Monday 10 June, PML-N’s official Twitter account denied having anything to do with this fake account. It tweeted at 11:54am that the account was fake and should be reported and blocked by everyone.
