4 MQM-L ‘Gangsters’ Arrested By CTD
Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested four ‘gangsters’ who were associated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement – London (MQM-L) in Karachi’s Malir district on Thursday.

Additional Inspector General Police (Addl. IGP) CTD Sindh Jamil Ahmed took to Twitter to inform the people about the recent operation that was carried out to maintain the law and order situation in Karachi. “CTD arrests a gang of 4 MQM-L gangsters including a vicious target killer who killed at least 5 persons and 3 extortionists,” he said.

The CTD official posted a video of private channel GTV which covered the operation. According to their report, the operation was conducted in Karachi’s Malir that resulted in the arrest of four MQM-L affiliated gangsters named Farhan Ali, Muhammad Mazhar, Muhammad Asif, and Farrukh Shahzad.

“Farhan confessed to the killing of five people during the interrogation. Muhammad Mazhar, who was the unit in-charge of MQM-L, used to distribute weapons and collect extortion money along with the remaining two arrested men,” the channel reported.
