Receive Unknown Threatening Calls But Can’t Disclose Number, Shahid Masood Tells ISPR

In the latest transmission of his talk show, senior anchor Dr Shahid Masood stated that he received calls from unknown numbers, referring DG ISPR Babar Iftikhar’s statement that army shouldn’t be dragged into politics and if anyone is getting a threatening calls from army officials, they should disclose the numbers.

Dr Masood questioned how is one supposed to disclose the numbers when the identity of the callers is never revealed and the source of these calls remain unknown. He said that he’s not saying he gets calls from the army but he does receives calls to warm him off.

Talking about the COAS’s claim that army is not involved in politics, he jokingly said that they’d be dragged in if they had left it all all, suggesting that they already are in politics.
