Battagram Clerks Booked For Harassing Female Colleagues

Officials of the Battagram education office were booked for harassing two women education officers. Dawn reported that the district police officer registered FIR which included sections 147, 149, 506 and 509 against officials that were named in a letter that the woman district education officer wrote to him last Saturday.

In the letter, the complainant had sought registration of cases against the clerks of her office over their act of passing a resolution against the two female officials.

DEO female Zuhra Bugum was quoted by Dawn as saying that she had 'relieved' 20 male officials of her office over the resolution against ASEO Battagram circle Shabnam and ASDEO Batamori circle Tahira Bibi, asking the police to book them.
