According an article in Journalism Pakistan, there’s talk of an online edition only. The news is a huge blow to print journalism in the country as the monthly magazine was renowned for its investigative stories and in depth analysis. Launched in 1969, Herald was counted among the most widely-read magazines in Pakistan as well as having a wide circulation abroad. The magazine is owned by Pakistan Herald Publications Limited (PHPL), which also publishes the Dawn Group of Newspapers.
