Khadim Rizvi, while addressing the party workers and supporters at Faisal Chowk on the occasion of Kashmir Day, said “we will not let the film Zindagi Tamasha release and will do whatever it takes to make sure it does not see the light of day.”
He further asked the government authorities, Zindagi Tamasha’s team, and those who are supporting the release of the film to ‘do whatever they can’ but the film will release over his dead body.
Earlier on January 28, the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) had set up a four-member committee that would review the film Zindagi Tamasha and submit a report to CII Chairman Dr Qibla Ayaz. Last month, the release of the film was suspended by government after facing pressure from TLP and other religious fractions in the country.
