Amid the backdrop of the Azadi March, Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has vowed to form a national government in the country.

While addressing a workers’ convention at Uch Sharif, Bilawal criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government. He was particularly critical of the federal budget and the PM’s promise of the construction of five million houses. He said, instead of getting houses, thousands of people had been made homeless.

Bilawal stated that his party would continue to face the ‘inefficient’ prime minister and would form the national government in any case.

He added that the government had inflicted economic damage on farmers.

The PPP chairperson also criticised the media policy of the government, stating that the government had silenced people’s voice.

He further said that the party was in support of Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azadi March.
