Cake, Two Other Pakistani Films To Be Streamed On Netflix

Pakistani film Cake captivated us since its release in theaters over a year ago. It was also the country’s official entry in the Oscar foreign-language category this year. Cake was directed by Asim Abbasi, and stars Aamina Sheikh, Sanam Saeed and Adnan Malik.



Now for those who missed out on seeing the film on the big screen; there is good news. Cake plus the indie film Pinky Memsaab, and the animated movie Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor are making their way to Netflix.

Cake’s director Asim Abbasi took to twitter to share the exciting news.

This is no doubt a great achievement for the Pakistani film industry which has witnessed a great resurgence in recent years.
