The newspaper said on Tuesday night that it “stands by the story” which carried a letter written by the royal to her estranged father.
A statement issued by the tabloid said, “Specifically, we categorically deny that the duchess’s letter was edited in any way that changed its meaning.”
A civil lawsuit filed by Meghan accused the tabloid of copyright infringement, misuse of private information and violating the United Kingdom’s data protection law with the “intrusive” publication of the letter, according to the law firm handling the case.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry also released a statement in which he lashed out at the press for intruding on the privacy of Meghan.
