Punjab Health Minister Tells People To Get Covid Vaccine At Their Own Risk
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has said that if the people get vaccinated against COVID-19 they’d be doing so at their “own risk” as some of the side effects of the vaccines have resulted in multiple deaths across several countries. Her statement is being criticised on social media with users saying that the minister should have encouraged people to get Covid vaccine instead of making them suspicious.

She said: “No one, even the COVID-19 patients, will be vaccinated by force. We will make the public aware of the side effects of the COVID-19 vaccines. There have been deaths due to the COVID-19 vaccine in some countries as well; therefore, everyone will be vaccinated at their own risk”

The health minister further clarified that researches don’t know yet for how long the vaccine will stay effective.

At the same press conference Dr Yasmin informed that vaccines to the entire country would be provided by the the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) from Wednesday.
